Adventure House is committed to providing the highest quality childcare, education, and work/life solutions for families in the South Surrey and White Rock community. At Adventure House we consider the diversity of children's backgrounds and abilities and prepare learning experiences that are free of gender, cultural, ethnic, and personal bias.
Activities that develop the social, emotional, physical, and intellectual characteristics of each child are central to our family childcare. Each child is given the encouragement and space to try new things, explore new ideas, and develop their own creativity.
Every child is given the opportunity to develop personal responsibility and social skills, learn problem solving techniques, and learn about other races and cultures. Each child is recognized as a unique individual who brings his or her own gifts to the program.
My name is Andrea, and I am the founder of my childcare program – Adventure House. I operate a licensed childcare in order to provide families with quality childcare and education in a nurturing environment.
I have always known growing up that I wanted to teach children, but I did not know in what capacity until I discovered Early Childhood Education. I knew then that I wanted to be a teacher of young children. I strive to meet your child’s physical, intellectual, social and emotional needs and I believe children learn best in a loving, organized, and natural learning environment.
Darlene is an Early Childhood Educator Assistant who is just starting her career and she looks forward to putting into practice all of the principles she has learned.
